DELAWARE: This new segment was shot in 1989 when Jerome was training a stable of race horses with his father and brother. He raced from Delaware to New York. It was during his time on the east coast that the attention he received began to reach hundreds of young people who would call to talk with him. He inspired many by his amazing courage and determination to return to racing horses after his accident.

SUPER DAVE: 1997 Jerome received a phone call from the Super Dave show. They read about his remarkable story and wanted him for a “Hero of the Week” segment. It was not only his remarkable story of facing and overcoming adversity that caught their attention, it was how he turned a devastating accident, his drug lifestyle into a gift. The gift is his ability to share his journey with thousands of young people and adults in hopes of affecting just one life.

CITY TV: City TV heard of Jerome, his story, and a unique and innovative program he created in British Columbia, Canada. He was asked if he would be profiled as a city hero for the work he does with youth and what he overcame to get where he is today, the executive director of the first mobile drop-in centre and outreach program in BC, and Canada.
